You open your outlook 2016 and get the following error.

Outlook cannot log on. Verify you are connected to the network and are using the proper server and mailbox name. The Microsoft Exchange information service in your profile is missing required information

Create a new email profile

Control Panel

Mail

Show profiles

Add

give new profile name

Fill in your account info

make sure you select always use the profile name you just created.

close

launch outlook, should open correctly
