Rescue Outreach Mission: Helping Keep Hope Alive in Central Florida

In 2019, Rescue Outreach Mission (ROM), a nonprofit organization serving indiduals and families experiencing homelessness in Seminole County, was facing the possibility of closing its doors. When the organization's board chair reached out to Certified Computer Solutions (CCS) for help, we knew we wanted to do what we could to help keep its mission alive.

CCS stepped in and provided IT services completely free of charge for years, helping Rescue Outreach Mission continue its important work during a critical time. Our commitment didn't end there. We subsequently served on ROM's board of directors for three years, continuing to support the organization and its mission.

Today, Rescue Outreach Mission is a thriving homeless shelter dedicated to providing a safe place for individuals and families in crisis. Beyond emergency shelter, ROM helps guests access supportive services and case management as they work toward stability and transition into permanent housing.

For CCS, this partnership represents what community involvement truly means: showing up when help is needed, sharing our expertise, and investing in organizations that make a lasting difference in people's lives.

Seminole County Chamber: More Than a Decade of Business Leadership and Community Involvement

Since 2014, Certified Computer Solutions (CCS) has been an active member of the Seminole County Chamber, building relationships, supporting local businesses, and contributing to the growth of the Central Florida business community.

Our involvement extends far beyond membership. Over the years, we have served in leadership roles across numerous Chamber councils and committees, including the Altamonte Springs Council, Seminole Tech Council, Sanford River Council, Virtual Council, Growth and Engagement Council, Issues and Government Affairs Council, and Ambassador Committee.

We have chaired both the Ambassador Committee and the Growth and Engagement Committee, helping strengthen member engagement, encourage business connections, and create opportunities for local companies to grow. In addition, we have served on the Seminole County Chamber's Board of Directors for more than seven years, contributing to the organization's leadership and its mission to enhance the economic vitality and quality of life in our community.

For CCS, Chamber involvement is about more than networking. It is an opportunity to give back, support fellow business owners, develop meaningful professional relationships, and help create a stronger business environment throughout Seminole County.

PARC’S Foundation: Investing in the Seminole County Community

At Certified Computer Solutions (CCS), we believe supporting our community means more than doing business here. It means giving our time, sharing our expertise, and helping organizations make a lasting difference.

For more than five years, CCS has supported PARC’S Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to enhancing and preserving Seminole County's parks, trails, natural lands, and recreational facilities. Our involvement has included providing IT services completely free of charge, serving on the board of directors, and helping guide the organization’s growth and community impact. We have also chaired the board for more than two years.

Our commitment extends beyond technology. We have helped organize community events, build awareness of the Foundation’s mission, and grow its social media following to connect with more residents and supporters. These efforts help bring greater visibility to the work being done to improve outdoor recreation and public spaces throughout Seminole County.

PARC’S Foundation supports initiatives that help make our community a better place to live, work, and play, from improving recreational facilities to expanding opportunities for residents to enjoy the outdoors.
